YOU ARE INVITED TO JOIN THE Urban Line Dancing FITNESS MOVEMENT!!!

Commonly referred to as Urban or Soul Line Dancing, this cardio craze is growing in popularity because it's a fun (fool proof) way to exercise that all ages enjoy.  Line Dancing, like all other art forms, gets it's roots from Africa.  It is our proud tradition to gather together as a community to dance. Just like in traditional African Dance ceremonies, picture rows of people dancing to a set of choreographed steps to drums, jazz, gospel, hip-hop or rhythm and blues music. The dance may be slow or fast and as they dance, they turn to face a different direction and the choreography begins again. The electric slide is one example of an urban line dance. There are literally thousands of urban line dances ranging from super simple to complex.

Classes are 1 hour sessions and the suggested donation is $8 for adults and $5 for youth. Regular participants are encouraged to invest in class passes where 10 sessions are provided for a suggested donation of $65. Passes do not expire and can be purchased online or in person.
